Reflections of 2016 – what a ride!

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!  The time when we are preparing to turn the page to a new year, and a time when many of us take a little time to reflect on the year that was! I also like to reflect on how the year panned out – to be thankful for all the good, the fun and happy times – and even for the “lessons” learned and more challenging experiences. STRESS & HORMONES! How they impact our weight – and what we can do about it!

Recently I was invited to do a Facebook Live video presentation for a local group – What’s On In Our Backyard. The topic was “STRESS & HORMONES! How they impact your weight – and what we can do about it!”

2015 – A Year of Healing, Growth & Transformation

With only a few hours left until we turn the page on another year, I find myself reflecting on my journey through the year that was 2015! A year that I knew right upfront would be about personal healing – I just didn’t realise how much healing, or that my entire life was to become so completely transformed over the next 365 days!

If 2015 was to be a “Year of Healing”, it was because 2014 had been the “Year of Horror” – the worst kind of pain and anguish you could possibly imagine! It was without a doubt, the SHITTIEST year of my life (bold, capital, underlined) – and one that I would not wish on another person – ever!

What Colour is Your Life?

The colours you’re attracted to can say a lot about your life and your state of well being, and colour has been used as a healing modality for thousands of years. Each colour has it’s own vibration and healing energy and links in with your energy system also known as the chakra’s. Colour Therapy has been used as an alternative treatment for many physical ailments and also to provide an improved sense of well being.

My beautiful friend Tina Galardi from Free Your Spirit Now wrote a fabulous article on this subject not too long ago, and I wanted to share it with you today.

Bullying or Narcissistic Personality Disorder – and what’s the difference?

A person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) displays patterns of deviant behaviour that can create carnage for those around them. NPD is NOT widely known or understood, and is often not diagnosed medically or psychologically, so the narcissistic behaviour often goes undetected – and the victim’s plight remains unrecognised!

Narcissistic Victim Syndrome is abuse/bullying that has been caused by someone with this personality disorder, and victims tend to only seek help when they feel like they can no longer cope. They are unaware that they have been living or working in a war zone, and no one has mentioned Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Victims of this narcissistic abuse and bullying often display a set, or cluster of symptoms due to the unrelenting physical, mental, emotional and sometimes spiritual abuse.

So what makes someone a Narcissist? What characteristics do they display that makes them such a dangerous personality to deal with?

To Give a F*^k, or NOT to Give a F*^k – that is the question!

WARNING! BUCKLE UP PEOPLE – THERE’S COLOURFUL LANGUAGE AHEAD!

I became very well aware back in my 30’s that I apparently cared just a bit too much! Cared too much about what people felt, what they thought – about me and everything else, what bothered them, what other people thought, said and did to them/about them. I gave a F*^K about EVERY FUCKING THING – and more often than not, it was to my own detriment.
